Access to hundreds of miles of dyke trails along rivers and streams in one of the most beautiful valleys in the world, the famous Pitt River Valley draining the Whistler Glaciers. Horse ride, walk or bike along level trails with beautiful scenery stretching forever, eagles soaring, beavers, otters and abundant water fowl. The dyke trails cover some of the most highly esteemed water meadows in Western Canada. Access to these dykes is at the end of the road… 2 minutes walk.

The Maple Ridge Equestrian Centre and restaurant is only 5 minutes ride away, famous for hosting international horse shows and competitions throughout last 25 years or more.

The geographic location of the house is at the foot of the Golden Ears Mountains, which tower over it to the North, with beautiful views towards Pitt Lake, and beyond that, Whistler. At times the Aurora Borealis is visible to the north. Maple Ridge town is to the South, and the open meadows of the Pitt valley to the West. The road is a peaceful cul de sac with only acreage properties on it.

Three beautiful rivers and two unspoilt , clear lakes are within 15 minutes drive for swimming, boating and water sports.

Friendly, family and animal orientated neighbourhood with many fine houses and properties on the street.

Easy road access to the Western routes allows Coquitlam to be reached in 20 minutes, New Westminster in 30 minutes, Vancouver in 50 minutes. Mission is 25 minutes to the East. The new Golden Ears Bridge in 2007 will bring the Trans Canada Highway to within 8 minutes, Surrey to within 12 minutes, and Vancouver to within 30 minutes, increasing the value of the location very considerably. Locally, downtown Maple Ridge, with high end office buildings, multiple shopping malls and one or two excellent   restaurants, is 5 minutes drive away, and more local shops are 2 minutes away.
